Why see a Chiropractor?

Just to name a few…….. Your body is designed to be a self healing and self regulating being. When ill health, pain or disease set in, that is a sign that something is interfering with your bodies ability to heal, and regulate itself. Chiropractors are the ONLY health professionals that are uniquely trained to locate, and remove these interferences thus allowing the body to heal it self.

Treat the cause, not the symptoms!

"Chiropractors work with the spine, not necessarily because its the source of neck and back pain, but because it houses and protects the central nervous system -- that system which monitors, controls and regulates all body function, allowing the body to adapt to its environment, both internal and external."

Study shows patients are happy with their chiropractor
" They concluded that, "Overall, 60 percent of the regular patients surveyed believe their doctor of chiropractic has improved their quality of life."

Most patients were highly satisfied with their care; 85.0% reported that their chiropractor always listened carefully; 85.3% that the DC explained things understandably; 88.2% that the DC showed respect for what they had to say; and 75.6% that he/she involved them in decisions as much as they wanted. The median proportion of patients, per DC, with a chief complaint who said their doctor always spent enough time with them was 82% (IQR: 19%) and 82.3% reported that their chiropractors never recommended more visits than necessary. Journal of the Neuromusculoskeletal System 2001:   9 (4):   109–117

A recent study shows that:

•  “Senior's who utilize Chiropractic have fewer chronic complaints

•  spend fewer days in hospitals and nursing homes

•  are more mobile in their communities

•  are more likely to report regular levels of exercise than non-chiropractic patients

•  In fact 87% of chiropractic patients described their health status as good to excellent, compared to 68% of non-chiropractic patients.

Your Chiropractor is well educated
In order to become a “Doctor of Chiropractic” chiropractic students must go through college and a chiropractic program every bit as strenuous and in-depth as other health care practitioners.  To help demonstrate this better, the following charts are given.

The survey of baby boomers was conducted  by Sorelli B, a national research firm.  The survey found that more than one third of those surveyed said chiropractic care prevented the need for prescription drugs and physical therapy.  Additionally, many respondents believe chiropractic care had helped them avoid back surgery and hospital stays.
